States need to do more, and the Federal Government need to do more [such as extend the expiration date for the $7,500 tax credit beyond 12/31/2010 !]. States can extend their Sales Tax exemption, for example. States and the Federal Government need to realize that families can save multiple thousands of dollars per year by "fueling" with electricity versus gasoline. This will allow people to save for the future, stop using credit cards, save for their retirement, save for their children's college funds, and stop all the pollution that burning a hydro-carbon fuel causes. In short, switching to electric powered vehicles can fix our economy !!!
